The Museum contains many
excellent farming and cider making
exhibits, as well as tools from
ancillary crafts, such as Blacksmithing,
Thatchering and Coopering.
On entering, the exhibits
depict the Autumn season, with
ploughs, harrows, seed drills
etc.
You will progress through
the Museum to the summer season
where implements and machinery
for grass mowing, corn cutting
and binding can be seen
Passing a variety of barn
equipment and machinery, you
will arrive at the dairy section
and farm kitchen
And then on into the cider
making section housing the
old wooden press, apple mills
and presses, and a great deal
more
When visiting the museum
you will be able to watch a fascinating
video of the cidermaker's year here at Sheppy's.
