We are delighted to introduce you to our new Head Chef, Gary, who brings with him a wealth of experience in the industry.

Commenting on his new appointment, Gary said: “At a young age, my first job involved peeling lots of potatoes and running around the kitchen for other chefs. I worked my way up the ladder, continually learning, from some of the best chefs out there.

I now experiment at home, making dishes for my wife and son - who is the best helper in the world!  I love creating classic British dishes with a twist and I love cooking fish, mussels being my favourite.

I’m excited to put Sheppy’s firmly on the food map. The kitchen team will be using locally sourced ingredients and our very own beef, it’s a great honour and privilege to be given the role of Head Chef and you will see me around, so feel free to come and say hello!”
