Opening on 21st April a new and exciting cider experience for Somerset. The finishing touches are being completed ready to open our doors to welcome visitors to the new House of Cider and Fine Foods. Starting a new era of tourism for their long-established business.
We have spent a year investing in the re-development of our old farm buildings to create a fabulous new experience for local and travelling visitors. The shop has been extended to create a modern, industrial style space.
House of Cider
The cider shop has been transformed into a modern-day farm shop. Locally sourced produce hand selected by the team at Sheppy’s, from across the county will stand proud on the shelves at House of Cider.
Sheppy’s full range of cider will be available in the shop where tasting will also be available at their stunning new tasting bar.
Our brand-new butchery will be selling the farm’s own English Longhorn beef as well as home-finished lamb, and locally sourced meats. All of the farm’s beef and lambs graze freely in the apple orchards during the summer months.
The deli will offer an almost irresistible experience selling local and homemade produce. Artisan chesses will play host to a cabinet filled with tempting treats. Located just next to the deli you will find it hard to avoid the smells from the bakery where fresh bread will be baked 7 days a week from Hobbs House and quaint homemade cakes and pastries will take centre stage.
Apple Bay Restaurant & Bar
A stunning refurbishment of our old wooden slatted bays where the harvested apples used to be held before pressing, and the old press room itself.
The perfect way to start any day with an inviting breakfast menu and a freshly ground cup of coffee. Offering a light, casual dining experience 7 days a week the breakfast and lunch menu will be bursting with ingredients from the House of Cider shop.
Open on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings the restaurant and bar will be transformed into an elegant, atmospheric setting. The beautifully hand crafted restaurant menu will offer up to 3 courses with specially selected ciders and wines perfectly matched to suit all dishes. Seating is available upstairs or downstairs.

Daily guided tastings will be on offer and guided tours will be a regular feature for visitors.
