Sheppy's Longhorn Rump Steak

This 28 day hung and dry aged steak sits just behind the back legs of the bullock and is the most flavoursome of all steaks. It's less tender than fillet, sirloin and rib eye, but for a punch of flavour it can't be beaten.
Our Rump steak is cut from our Longhorn grass fed cattle. As the oldest breed of cattle, Longhorns are not cross bred or intensively farmed and produce a finer grained muscle in the meat and an intense marbling of fat which creates a succulence and flavour that is second to none. The flavour is enhanced by the meat then being hung for 28 days.
