Hereford Hop is a British cheese, handmade by Charles Martell, maker of the famous Stinking Bishop. He invented the cheese in 1990 on the Hunts Court Farm which is a few miles away from the Herefordshire border.

Hereford Hop is a round cheese made from cow's milk and coated in hops. The hops are crunchy, with the slightly yeasty taste associated with beer, while the cheese is mellow, mild sweet and buttery Cheddar wrapped in Herefordshire Hops .

The maturation period is from one to three months Made with pasteurised milk and vegetarian rennet.
