Sheppy’s Spicy Tomato Chutney

This sweet chutney is a great accompaniment to all soft cheeses - truly delicious! We serve this on our Sheppy’s Longhorn Burger, alongside Barber’s Cheddar and Crisp bacon, hence this has become one of our Signature Dishes on our menu.

Ingredients: Tomatoes (40%) (tomatoes, tomato juice, citric acid), sugar, onion (15%), spirit vinegar, water, thickener: maize starch tomato paste (2%), spices, salt, sunflower oil, garlic puree, brown MUSTARD seeds, acidity regulator: citric acid

Spicy Tomato Chutney : Some jar labels in circulation may not reflect an ingredient change from Sunflower Oil to Rapeseed Oil. This was an enforced change due to sudden Europe wide shortages of Sunflower Oil arising from the conflict in Ukraine. FSA risk assessment has approved this temporary substitution of ingredient, and we will be updating our pack labelling to make this a permanent change, as soon as possible.
