Event Bank Staff

Sheppy’s House of Cider is a visitor attraction including a farm shop, café, restaurant and bar. It is establishing its position as Somerset’s premier cider destination, serving tourists and locals alike with a first-class experience in all areas, based on a high level of customer care and attention to detail.

We are looking for:

A cheerful and enthusiastic team player who has a professional and positive attitude.

What is the process to work at an event?

Once you have completed the application form and returned it via email to events@sheppyscider.com or handed it into the shop for the attention of "The Events Team", you will be invited in for a conversation where we can discuss the type of work, we have available as well as what your role with us would be.

Once fully registered as a bank staff member, we will email you when new roles at events become available, and you can confirm your interest.

You do not need to meet a minimum hour requirement and only have to work at events you want to!

What type of jobs are available?

Events at Sheppy's are really varied, from private parties to large scale public events. We will have opportunities for people to work at weddings, wakes and corporate events as front of house staff, as well as at the ticket collection, the outdoor bar or car parking duties at our larger events.

What do event workers get paid?

We offer competitive hourly rate. We are always very upfront with our staff about how much they will get paid and ensure everyone is paid within 2 weeks of the event finishing.

You are not asked to commit yourself to the company further than to attend for work when you have agreed to do so.

What kind of hours are typical for an event worker?

Events don’t tend to be your typical 9-to-5, and can fall on weekends or week days. Each shift can be different from the last, so we always provide details of the available assignment, including the hours of work usually 7 days in advance.
