IN-CIDER SCOOP: Sheppy’s Cider to launch new range of vintage cider!

Somerset’s oldest cider makers, Sheppy’s, is launching a new range of vintage ciders which includes a brand-new addition to the line-up. The range, made up of three premium traditional vintage ciders, includes the award-winning Vintage Reserve, the Vintage Organic and the latest, Vintage Cloudy.

The new range will be available for cider drinkers everywhere just in time for the height of the summer season, through the Sheppy’s web shop or at The House of Cider at Sheppy’s Cider Farm from the 21st June, RRP £31.95 for 12 bottles.

The latest addition to Sheppy’s cider repertoire is the Vintage Cloudy Cider (6.7% ABV), a light blend of Sheppy’s traditional Somerset cider with a touch of pure cloudy apple juice to produce a characterful, fruity and full-bodied dry to medium cider. Under the watchful eye of Managing Director, David Sheppy, the new Vintage Cloudy is made using the same traditional methods as the rest of its premium craft ciders.

Also included in the range is Sheppy’s award-winning Vintage Reserve Cider (7.4% ABV). A carefully blended medium-dry, lightly sparkling cider. Its full-bodied and mature flavour leave a satisfyingly long taste on the palate and allows it to be a great accompaniment alongside any meal but is equally good enjoyed on its own. Like all Sheppy’s Cider, the Vintage Organic Cider (6% ABV) is produced at the farm in Somerset using only the best apples grown from the organic orchard. The Vintage Organic gives you a delicious and full-flavoured lightly sparkling medium cider.
