We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Shop Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient operation within the shop. This position involves assisting customers, managing stock, and maintaining a clean and organised environment.

Duties
• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries.
• Maintain an organised and tidy shop environment.
• Manage stock levels, including receiving deliveries and restocking shelves.
• Assist in the setup of promotional displays and merchandising.
• Process transactions accurately at the till.
• Provide product information to customers and assist them in making informed choices.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure high standards of customer service.
• Handle customer complaints or queries in a professional manner.
Requirements
• Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is preferred but not essential.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage positively with customers and colleagues.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts as required by the shop's operational needs.
• Ability to be sales focused, upselling effectively and maximising customer spend
