We're delighted to announce that our 200 Special Edition Cider has won TWO STARS at the Great Taste Awards! Our Original Cloudy Cider has also done fantastically, taking home another Great Taste star as well.

According to the judges:

200 Special Edition Cider: A light golden colour and soft carbonation. Real cider apple character on the nose, plenty of proper cider flavour reminiscent of Somerset ciders of rural character tilting gently towards scrumpy, opening sweet and heading towards a pleasant dryness that makes you want to have another mouthful.

Original Cloudy Cider: Very pale straw coloured cider with a slight cloudy element also. Faint dry apple aromas. Delicious fresh apple flavour on the palate with a well observed dryness too.
Definitely a medium sweet cider that bridges the gap well between a table cider and a scrumpy. Good stuff!

There were 12,634 entries into Great Taste this year and of those products only 1,207 received a 2-star. So there are some very proud cidermakers at Sheppy's today!
