Jan, the heart behind Blue Shed Florist, began her journey with a simple love for seasonal flowers and the quiet rhythm of farm life. What started as a small passion project—growing and arranging blooms from her own land—gradually blossomed into a creative space where nature and artistry meet. Her approach has always been rooted in sustainability, using what the land provides and celebrating the beauty of each season.

Today, Jan is best known for her wedding flowers, creating natural, romantic arrangements that reflect both the couple and the surrounding landscape. Each bouquet and installation feels personal, as though it belongs exactly where it is. Alongside her wedding work, she hosts relaxed, hands-on workshops at the farm, inviting others to slow down, connect with flowers, and experience the joy of creating something beautiful from the ground up.

We're proud to partner with Aizel, a gifted local florist known for her stunning, handcrafted arrangements. Her creations often feature fresh, seasonal blooms from Yalham Hayes Flower Farm, just down the road - brining the beauty of our countryside right into your home or event.

Aizel Finch started Yalham Hayes Flower Farm in 2019 to create a small flower growing business mainly for wholesale. Her main aim was to earn while working from her family’s new home and support the local economy.

Aizel modern style of fresh wild flowers, would be perfect for any wedding.
