We’re delighted to welcome the Yeovil Car Club to the farm, as they begin their 50-mile classic car cruise around the beautiful Quantocks area. Expect to see a fantastic variety of vintage and classic cars, pre - 1973 lovingly maintained by passionate owners.
The Yeovil Car Club was founded back in 1949 by a group of local businessmen who shared a love for motorsport. Over the decades, the club evolved into a vibrant community of classic car enthusiasts, united by a shared appreciation for motoring history and craftsmanship.
The club’s Classic Tour was first launched in 1988, and after 30 successful years, it was reimagined in 2018 as the Sunday Run—a more relaxed, scenic event that continues to bring joy to members and spectators alike.
Now celebrating its impressive 75th anniversary, the club is thriving, welcoming new members of all ages who share a love of classic vehicles and the stories behind them.
Interested in joining? Whether you're a lifelong petrolhead or just starting out, the Yeovil Car Club welcomes anyone with an interest in classic cars. It's a great way to meet like-minded people, take part in local events, and keep motoring heritage alive. A great place for those passing by, couples and families and in our case the starting point of a Car Club Day Tour of the nearby Quantock Hills. Sheppy’s welcome group visits and they arrange private parking and exclusive use of their excellent Barn for us to gather for coffees, teas and their delicious Apple Juice plus superb biscuits. A great way to start the event! And so easily found right on the A38 out of Taunton towards Wellington. Sarah was our contact when arranging the event and Olivia a fabulous host in the Barn on the day. And interested in all the cars!
